A&D Account Manager
Summary:
This results-oriented sales professional will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our tile and stone products within the architectural and design community. You’ll build strong relationships with key decision-makers to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve significant revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve ambitious annual sales targets within the architectural market segment.
- Identify and target key architectural firms, design studios, and other stakeholders to build relationships and expand the client base.
- Actively prospect and engage with architects, designers, and specifiers, promoting products and ensuring successful project specifications.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted materials, presentations, and product samples tailored to the architectural and design audience.
- Provide comprehensive product education and training to architects, designers, and other decision-makers.
- Track project opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain detailed project records, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to adapt sales strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, presentations, and communication.
- Possess strong analytical skills to interpret sales and market reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within the architectural products or building materials sector.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, and industry professionals.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and project specifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, adept at working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel required.
